Suffolk County will conduct 10 Water Resource Studies one for each town in Suffolk County. The purpose of the studies is to determine how to protect drinking water and to study the ramifications of development.

The Communityıs Vision requires higher densities funneled into two centers and one subcenter. Those centers are located along the groundwater divide in Hydrogeologic Zone III, an area of high ground water quality. It is, therefore, crucial that the water resource study for Brookhaven Town be conducted along the Middle Country Road Corridor.

Please write or fax Supervisor John LaValle & Councilman Jim Tullo and tell them that the Water Resource Study should be conducted along the Middle Country Road Corridor.
